Expense Plan
As a self-employed professional, you are responsible for the fixed expenses of running your business and these office expenses continue even when you are unable to work.
The Business Overhead Expense Plan covers business expenses that continue when your business revenue slows or stops because you are disabled due to illness or accident.

Determine Your Benefit Amount
You may purchase coverage equal to your average fixed monthly expenses in the last six months, less any business expense or office overhead coverage already in force. Coverage is available from $500 to $8,000 in monthly benefits, in units of $100.
Benefit payments begin following the Elimination Period you choose when you apply — either 14 days or 30 days. (The longer the Elimination Period, the lower your premiums.)
