Accidental Death & Dismemberment:
You can’t eliminate the risk of it happening, but you can protect yourself against the financial impact.

While Term Life Insurance plan coverage will help secure your family’s future should you pass away, what would happen if you suffered a serious accident or injury? The financial toll on your family could be just as debilitating. And sadly, accidents happen every day.

Fortunately, both you and your spouse have the option to add up to $500,000 in Accidental Death & Dismemberment Protection to your existing Term Life Insurance plan coverage. For as little as 50¢ per month, you can safeguard your loved ones against the severe financial trauma an accidental death or disability often brings. Click here to find out what's covered.
  • The lump sum, tax-free benefit payment can be used to replace lost income, pay for rehabilitation and healthcare expenses, settle outstanding debts and/or final expenses – whatever you and/or your loved ones need to better cope financially.
  • You’ll be protected at home, at work, even when you’re out of the country – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – right up to your 70th birthday!
  • If you die accidentally and have both the Term Life Insurance plan and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Protection, both coverages are paid to your beneficiaries.
Includes a special Home Alteration and Vehicle Modification Benefit: If as a direct result of an accidental injury you require the use of a wheelchair to be ambulatory, you will also receive an additional Home Alteration and Vehicle Modification Benefit of up to $10,000 to help pay for alterations to your home and vehicle to make them wheelchair accessible.

Includes a Seat Belt Benefit: In the event that you die as a result of an accidental injury while driving or riding in an automobile in which you were wearing a seatbelt properly, your beneficiary will receive an additional Seat Belt Benefit in the amount of 10% of your Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage.

To apply for Accidental Death & Dismemberment Protection, you must be under the age of 60, applying for or be covered by the Term Life Insurance plan and the amount of coverage you select must be equal to or less than your base term life coverage. Rates are guaranteed not to increase for the first five coverage years and will renew each five coverage years thereafter.
