Robert A. Cook
Senior Executive Vice President & General Manager, Asia
  As Senior Executive Vice President and General Manager, Asia, Mr. Cook has overall general management responsibility for Manulife’s Asia and Japan Division.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Cook served as Executive Vice President, U.S. Insurance Group. In this capacity he oversaw the John Hancock Life Insurance, Long-term Care, and Financial Network business units.
During Mr. Cook’s 30-year career at Manulife, he has held management positions in the company’s U.S., Canadian, International and Corporate divisions in areas including strategic planning, product management for insurance and annuities, sales and marketing. He has been located at various times in Toronto, Waterloo, Boston, England, and currently is based in Hong Kong. His experience spans a number of areas including: strategic planning, product management for insurance and annuities, sales, and marketing.
Mr. Cook is a graduate of the Universities of Toronto and Calgary and holds an MBA in Finance. |
