Manulife Wins Two Top Service Awards
Third-time winner of Top Service Award in insurance company category
and winner of the inaugural MPF service category

Hong Kong – Manulife (International) Limited (MIL) has received two awards in Next Magazine’s annual Top Service Award competition. The publication announced the results yesterday, declaring Manulife the winner in the insurance company category for the third time and for the second year in a row. Manulife also earned the highest number of votes for its MPF service, a new category for the magazine’s Top Service Award this year.

“Service excellence is the most critical factor towards achieving success in our business,” said Ed Lau, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Hong Kong, MIL. “For years we have dedicated tremendous effort to delivering superior service to our customers and we are delighted to be recognized through these two awards.”

“Manulife has traditionally been a good performer in the insurance company category, but to receive the highest number of votes in the MPF service category this year underscores our success in supporting both corporate and individual MPF members with timely, high quality administrative, communication and intermediary service,” added Mr. Lau.

According to Next Magazine, the Top Service Award recognizes companies for their success in achieving service excellence in the eyes of consumers and also aims to enhance belief in top quality service by companies in different sectors.

Next Magazine’s Top Service Award is presented annually and winners are decided through public ballot. Votes were collected by Next Magazine and its sister publication Apple Daily, and through the Next Media Web site, and the winners were selected based upon the results of the voting. Next Magazine is Hong Kong’s most widely circulated weekly general interest magazine.
