Manulife Taiwan moves headquarters to new office location Taipei – Over the last three years Manulife Taiwan has experienced exceptional growth with premiums for the first three quarters of 2002, five times bigger than premiums in the same period in 1999. In order to provide a more comfortable office environment for staff and more efficient services for customers and agents, Manulife Taiwan will move to a new state-of-the-art office in Taipei, located at 2F-A, No. 89. SungRen Road, effective 12th December 2002. “Because of Manulife Taiwan’s tremendous growth over the last three years we have outgrown our existing office premises,” said Michael Huddart, General Manager of Manulife Taiwan. “Recently, for the same reason we consolidated our agency offices at President Plaza on Keelung Road and are now moving our head office to be close to the Taipei agency office. This move will enable us to further improve the service we provide to our customers, staff and agents by giving our management and staff a larger and more efficient office.” Manulife Taiwan was supported by Richard Ellis, a local real estate agency. Firstly, in selecting ideal premises and, secondly, agreeing the terms for both offices for its staff and agency. “Manulife Taiwan’s new office is located near by the Taipei City Government Building and Taipei Mass Transportation System, making it much more convenient for customers and agents to visit us for administration support and service,” added Mr. Huddart.
